·         Concrete house slabs

It is structural component of building construction. These concrete house slabs may be precasted or built onsite. Prefabricated slabs are manufactured in a factory and then are transported to the site. These may be pre-stressed in factories, post-stressed onsite or unstressed. It is important and fundamental to note that the wall supporting structures should be constructed with correct dimensions otherwise the slabs might not fit. Onsite slabs are constructed on the building site using formwork. If the concrete slabs are to be fabricated, the rebars or metal bars are positioned within the formwork and then the concrete is poured in them. Plastic bar chairs or plastic tripped metals are used to hold the rebar away from the bottom and side of the formwork.
